About

This blog will cover verbatim episode transcripts from the ABC show Once Upon a Time. These are not official, but accurate short of minor grammatical errors. Any glaring spelling or formatting errors, as well as questions, can be sent to ouattranscripts@hotmail.com. It’s not checked terribly frequently, but I’ll get around to it.

Thank you so much! I’ve been scouring the internet for days looking for scripts of the show, but it wasn’t until I thought to look for transcripts that I came upon your wonderful site. Keep them coming. I can’t wait to read more!

Wow, where would I be without this site! The longer the show goes on, the more I find I need to “check the transcripts”. Just had to say thank you again, for keeping it up – you are doing an amazing job!

Thank you for this! I know how much work it is to produce transcripts. You rock!

What a great site! Thanks for doing this. Hey, you might be able to answer a question for me off the top of your head, since you’ve done all these transcriptions — Does Regina ever call Emma by her first name, or is it always Sheriff or Miss Swan?

  7. I tried to write you about this one, don’t know if its just me but I cannot get this blog to view in GoogleChrome anymore. It just keeps telling me the page is broken so I have to open it in another browser. (Possible, just inconvenient.) It worked for like the first 6 transcripts you put up, then something changed. Do you know anything about this problem?

    • It displays fine for me in Chrome. I’m guessing it’s your settings. Sorry I can’t be more helpful on the issue!

      • It’s finally working for me again in Chrome! So glad you’re still doing this transcripts and so speedily too! I do wonder though, will you eventually be switching over the character’s real names? I keep starting to browse for something Snow said and not finding it since her dialogue is still labeled MMB. Which just doesn’t seem fitting of her at all anymore, especially now that she’s back in the fairy tale world.

    • I’ve been debating what to do with names this season. There’s the issue of both names still being used depending on who’s speaking, which makes it even more of a mess. Both Emma and Henry are still referring to Snow as Mary Margaret, for instance. The reason why I’ve kept everyone’s Storybrooke names, despite them no longer really fitting those personalities, is to keep the distinction between their past and present lives. For the time being, they’re going to be named based on whether it’s pre-curse or post-curse, regardless of the world they’re currently in.

I just want to thank you so much for doing this. I love this series, however English is a second language to me. So reading all the transcripts from the various episodes after watching them helps tremendously in understanding what was being said. Thank you so much for doing this!

This is an excellent idea and incredibly useful (I was able to use your transcript instead of having to rewatch an episode for fanfic research!). Thank you for putting all that effort forth!

  18. Marissa says:

Love the transcripts! Perhaps you would consider transcribing several movies like:
    1. Iron Man (2008)
    2. Iron Man 2 (2010)
    3. Sherlock Holmes (2009)
    4. Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows (2011)
If you can do it, please contact me! It would be awesome! Even if you can’t, thanks again for the wonderful OUAT transcripts!
